About us

A pharmacy built around people in pain.

PAIN RELIEF is an independent community pharmacy in London, dispensing NHS and private prescriptions across the United Kingdom. We specialise in pain — the medicines, the risks and the conversations that too often get skipped.

Our story

Founded on a simple frustration.

People living with severe pain were arriving at our counter with boxes of medicine they did not understand — and questions nobody had answered. So we built a pharmacy that starts with the question, not the prescription.

Our pharmacists work with GP surgeries, pain clinics, hospices and specialist prescribers across the UK. We dispense carefully, we explain thoroughly, and we tell you plainly when a medicine carries risks worth thinking about.

Because the strongest painkillers are controlled drugs, we also publish the legal and safety position on every one of them. Transparency is not a marketing position for us — it is part of the duty of care that comes with handling these medicines.

What we stand for

Four commitments we can be held to.

Evidence before opinion

Everything we publish is checked against UK licensing, the electronic medicines compendium and current clinical guidance.

Time to explain

A short conversation prevents most medicine problems. We do not rush consultations.

Safety over sales

We earn nothing from you taking more medicine. We will always tell you when less is better.

Accountable care

Registered premises, named pharmacists, documented reviews and a clear complaints route.
